My mom's ceiling collapsed due to undetected water leakage over several months and as a result had to have two thirds of her ceiling replaced. I reached out to one of my fellow residents at the condo where I reside on who would be a good contractor to fix the ceiling and get it back to where it was. She recommended Jeff Havilland and it turned out to be an excellent recommendation. Jeff answered his phone immediately and within a few days sent a very detailed proposal of the work to be done (and as it turned out, his bid came in a bit lower than the other company we were considering). From start to finish Jeff explained the process thoroughly and was able to get the job done in a timely manner. The ceiling and the molding looked even better than before the leak! If you are looking for a top notch contractor for your home repairs or remodeling, I would highly recommend Jeff Havilland and his crew.

I highly recommend Jeff and his team! They are my absolute go-to for everything I need done around the house! I have used him for a few years and am always thrilled with the outcome from his attention to detail, his assurance of keeping the workspace clean during and after the work and his creative solutions to different challenges! Everything from cleaning my gutters to installing new sections (that didn't exist before) and gutter guards, replacing cabinet floor from a prior leak that caused water damage, to installing built-in shelves for an awkward alcove that I was struggling with, to finding exterior siding deterioration that he was able to replace and it matches the original work completely, and my favorite was his installation of my new beautiful storm doors. Everything he and his team have done for my home has brought me convenience and peace of mind to know that everything is being well-maintained!

Jeff’s work is high quality. He was faced with a real mess that a different company caused on our walls. He was able to make the walls look like new. We are very pleased with the results. Did a great job installing cedar siding and wraps around my entryway gable. Even caught some structural damage under the surface and were able to repair it. Recommended.

I can’t say enough good things about Haviland Home Services. Jeff (the owner) came out for over an hour and discussed the various issues that we are trying to rectify with our residence. He was prompt, very punctual and he was very detailed in his work. Communication seems very important to him and any concerns we had were addressed immediately. His employees and associates were also knowledgeable and most respectful. We will be using Haviland for future projects. We would recommend that you do the same. You won’t be frustrated or disappointed. As a final note we found his prices to be very reasonable unlike many of the other companies that gave us estimates on the work we needed to have done. Working for Haviland was a wonderful experience. The team was extremely welcoming since day one and were open to training me on whatever project skills were needed. We used Haviland Home Services for our kitchen update. Our priority was to have our kitchen cabinets painted from brown to white uppers and navy lowers. Jeff was readily available through every step of the process (from the very beginning with detailed explanation of his process to the final gorgeous product). We also received a detailed breakdown of the pricing and exactly how much each step would cost. Communication was wonderful, final product is wonderful! Jeff is one of the sweetest humans I’ve ever met. He saw a post I made about my father passing and needing a ceiling painted ASAP for his memorial. He came over gave me a quote and watched me cry. He was over early the next day and personally did the work himself. He was fast and efficient. God blessed me in my time of need with this kind man. I will refer him to anyone and everyone.

AWESOME WORK, QUALITY & COMMUNICATION! Jeff & team repaired and replaced damaged wood (including two 4x12 Cedar support posts on our porch), repaired drywall and painted the whole exterior of our house. Jeff went the extra mile to ensure all repairs were done properly and of the highest quality. He also helped us narrow down the exterior color which looks great and his painters did an excellent job. I would highly recommend Haviland Home Services. Jeff and his employees painted the trim around the outside of my windows and repaired the caulking. They did such a fantastic job that it looks as if I had new windows installed. Jeff arrived and completed the project right on schedule. He is very professional and pays close attention to detail. I want to give a shout-out to Jeff with Haviland Home Services for having done such an excellent job repainting our home. I’ve never worked with a more professional and friendly contractor. Prior to choosing them, I got bids and checked references on multiple contractors. I found that everyone was over the top with praise for Jeff and his team. I now can see why. I’m fairly particular and detailed, but he exceeded my expectations. Even better, his bid was great too! I can’t imagine using anyone else now.

Haviland Home Services took a thoughtful approach to our painting and drywall needs. They set reasonable expectations and communicated them to us throughout the process. Their billing and project estimates were clear and well documented. Given their prompt and professional approach during this project we are actively discussing with them new improvement ideas.
